Red light as clinical technology

Red light LED photobiomodulation has moved from a longevity practice to a tool of professional use with growing clinical backing. VALKEA selects and integrates the equipment of highest standard, designed for residences and hospitality where rigour matters.

Not all red light panels are equivalent. The difference between a consumer panel and a professional-grade panel is measured in concrete parameters: full spectrum (630, 660, 810, 830 and 850 nm), clinical irradiance (>100 mW/cm² measured at 15 cm), pulse control, silent refrigeration and IEC medical certifications.

VALKEA selects manufacturers that meet those parameters and integrates them into the architectural project. Red light stops being a device and becomes part of the room: wall-mounted with interior-design criterion, integrated in a dedicated cabin, or resolved as a discreet movable element, depending on intended use.

Certified full spectrum

We work with panels that combine five wavelengths in the red and NIR range: 630, 660, 810, 830 and 850 nm. Each wavelength acts on tissues at different depths. The full spectrum allows protocols for face, body and athletic recovery with the same installation.

Architectural integration

In residential projects, the panel integrates into the rest area, dressing room or dedicated cabin with acoustic treatment, silent ventilation and programmable pulse. In hospitality, we integrate it into spa, gym or wellness cabin with flow and disinfection dimensioned for shared use.

What is worth knowing

What is the price of a professional VALKEA red light panel?
Individual residential panels with 5-band spectrum and clinical certification start in the mid-range of premium market solutions. Full-body cabins, dimensioned and integrated, scale accordingly. Priced after initial conversation.
How long should sessions be?
Recommended residential sessions range from 10 to 20 minutes per treated area at 15–30 cm from the panel. Exact protocols are adjusted to the goal and the specific panel.
Is daily use safe?
Yes. Red light in the 630–850 nm range with clinical irradiance is non-thermal and non-ionising. Available studies show a very high safety profile under proper use.
Difference between visible red (630–660 nm) and near infrared (810–850 nm)?
Visible red acts at the surface (skin, cosmetics). Near infrared penetrates deeper and acts on deeper tissues (muscle, joint). VALKEA panels include both ranges for comprehensive protocols.
Can it be installed in a sauna or steam room?
Not directly: panel electronics are not designed for humidity saturation. We typically integrate red light in an adjacent room or dressing area.
Do you work with clinics and longevity centres?
Yes. We install in clinics, sports medicine centres and longevity centres. Model selection is made according to clinical protocol and use regime.
